Driving $50K Revenue for TechCrazy Through Paid Ad Campaigns

The Challenge


TechCrazy, a New Zealand-based e-commerce store, aimed to scale its online sales but faced challenges in effectively leveraging paid advertising channels. With a competitive market and a limited timeframe, they needed a strategy that would deliver measurable results quickly.


My Role in the Journey


As a side project, I partnered with TechCrazy to design and execute high-impact paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and Google. My goal was to create a strategy that maximized return on investment while driving traffic and conversions for their e-commerce store.


What I Delivered


  • Market and Audience Analysis: Identified key customer segments and tailored campaigns to target high-intent audiences effectively.

  • Platform-Specific Strategies:

    • Facebook/Instagram: Designed engaging ad creatives and optimized targeting to capture interest and drive traffic.

    • Google Ads: Implemented search and shopping ads to capture high-intent buyers actively searching for relevant products.

  • A/B Testing and Optimization: Continuously tested ad creatives, copy, and audience settings to improve performance metrics.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitored campaign performance in real-time, adjusting strategies to ensure optimal ROI.


The Outcome


  • Revenue Growth: Generated $50,000 in revenue within the campaign period.

  • Improved ROI: Achieved a strong return on ad spend (ROAS) by carefully balancing ad budgets and targeting strategies.

  • Brand Visibility: Increased online traffic and engagement, boosting TechCrazy’s brand presence in the New Zealand market.


Why It Matters to Me


This project was an exciting opportunity to apply my digital marketing skills to a real-world e-commerce challenge. Seeing how the right combination of strategy and execution can directly impact revenue was incredibly rewarding. It reinforced my belief in the power of data-driven campaigns and further honed my expertise in performance marketing.
