The Challenge
Mortgage brokers often face the challenge of managing client relationships and loan processing efficiently. Many relied on disjointed systems, leading to delays and errors in loan submissions. A client at Softobiz envisioned a robust SaaS CRM platform that would centralize these operations and integrate seamlessly with Encompass, a widely used mortgage submission tool.
My Role in the Journey
As a Business Analyst on the project, I played a critical role in understanding the client’s needs, crafting a detailed roadmap, and ensuring the platform delivered a seamless user experience. Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, I contributed to building a solution that streamlined broker operations from lead management to loan processing.
What I Delivered
Requirement Analysis: Engaged with mortgage brokers and stakeholders to gather insights into their workflows and pain points.
Product Design and Roadmap: Prioritized features like lead tracking, client management, and integration with Encompass to push qualified loan profiles directly for processing.
Integration Strategy: Designed the Encompass integration to enable effortless data transfer of loan profiles, reducing manual effort and submission errors.
User-Centric Design: Focused on creating an intuitive interface that allowed brokers to navigate features effortlessly, ensuring high adoption rates.
The Outcome
Streamlined Operations: The CRM platform simplified lead management, client follow-ups, and loan processing, reducing turnaround times significantly.
Improved Accuracy: The Encompass integration ensured accurate and timely submission of loan profiles, enhancing broker-client trust.

Why It Matters to Me
